From New York Times Bestselling author, Kristen Proby, comes the first in an all-new trilogy in her beloved Big Sky Series!
Hannah Malone loves her new town. Despite living in Cunningham Falls for five years, she’s still considered a “move in” by most of the locals, and that doesn’t bother her in the least. She’s the “new girl”, and she hasn’t regretted it for one day. This town is her sanctuary. Her home. The one place she finally fits in and feels safe after a lifetime of being different and running from the memories and a past so far away it can’t haunt her anymore.
As the newly appointed police chief, Brad Hull has the responsibility to keep his citizens safe and to maintain order. His roots in this town are deep—five generations deep, to be exact. Cunningham Falls, Montana is his town, and being a cop and protecting what’s his is his passion. Everything’s running like clockwork until a sassy redheaded doctor moves in and disrupts the order—and Brad’s focus.
She’s not just beautiful, funny, and strong. Hannah’s everything he’s been looking for in a woman. The chemistry is undeniable, and the heat in the bedroom is off the charts. Brad knew the minute he met Hannah that she was the one for him. He’s tenacious in his pursuit of her. But when the past catches up with Hannah, will Brad be able to protect her and their hearts?

4 stars! Chief SexyPants will steal your heartbeat!
“You turn me the hell on, Brad Hull.”
Holy hell on wheels! I was left dump and anxious as the heroine of this book. Charming Hannah by Kristen Proby is a light read. It was easy to read but the pace is quite slow. At the beginning I felt those sparks that make you think: “this is going to be a good book” but they turned off and turned on constantly. Reading this book was a confusing but enjoyable journey. It's crazy, isn't it?
The storyline is good. There were moments that I felt high but also a bit low. I really don't know how I felt after reading this book. I didn't hate it but neither had I loved it. The plot is fine but there was something missing.
The characters are complex. Hannah and Brad have the most demanding careers. He is a chief of police and she is an OB GYN. Their careers demand all their time and attention. They should be able to enjoy what life offers them. Life is not all about work. That's something both will learn. They are busy souls that will calm each other demons. They are great together.
“She clears the demons away, and brings lightness to my heavy heart that I haven’t felt in a very long time.”
Brad is the best of this book. He is sexy AF. He is a strong, sweet, caring and loyal man. He is a chief of police so this means that he is a hot guy in uniform. Yay! Who does not love men in uniforms? Ladies Brad is going to melt your heart and panties. Hannah and Brad are cute together. They complete each other. I wished Hannah was more confident and less nervous. She had more potential but she was a passive character.
“You make me want things I never have before, Hannah.”
Charming Hannah is the first installment of the Big Sky Series. Kristen Proby delivered a quite small town love good enough for those readers who like a smooth and easy read. This is the first time I read something from Kristen and I am quite looking forward for Jenna's book. I have the feeling that she will be a strong and sassy heroine. I am not disappointed. I am just trying to digest better this book.
Between us: Chief SexyPants is the main reason why I quite enjoyed this book. [endif]

Someone is ringing my fucking doorbell. I was at the hospital until the wee hours, I was finally in a deep, lovely sleep, and someone is ringing the bell.
All I know for sure is, this had better not be the damn door-to-door people trying to sell me a vacuum. Or a magazine. Or Jesus.
I wrap my robe around me, stumbling toward the door. I pull it open and am surprised to find an excited Sadie and a ridiculously sexy Brad standing at my door.
“Is that coffee?” I ask.
“For you,” he confirms and holds it out to me.
“Come to mama,” I mutter and take it from his hand, taking a grateful sip. Sadie brushes past my leg, into the house, and curls up on my couch.
“She’s not supposed to be on the furniture,” Brad says.
“My house, my rules,” I reply and take another sip of the one thing in this world I’m addicted to, and give him a once over from head to toe. “You look like you got about as much sleep as I did.”
“Rough night?” he asks without confirming or denying.
“Babies,” I reply with a shrug. “You?”
He just shrugs. “Are you going to ask me in?”
“Sure.” I back up and gesture him into the room. “Sorry, I was sleeping pretty good. My energy level is about equal to a sloth on Xanax.”
“I can leave and let you go back to bed.”
His eyes roam up and down my body, reminding me that I’m just in a robe and nothing else. His green eyes are hot, and every muscle in his body is tight.
Even sleep deprived, I can tell when a man is in the mood.
“You’ve brought me coffee. I’ll never kick you out when you’ve done that.”
“I’ll remember that,” he says with a chuckle.
“Besides, I have plenty of room.” I turn and walk into my bedroom, glancing behind me to see that he’s following me. He makes a hand gesture at Sadie, which I assume means stay. “We can take a nap,” I suggest.
His lips twitch, but he doesn’t say anything when he joins me next to the bed. He takes my coffee and sets both of our cups on the bedside table.
“Is that what you want, Hannah?” he murmurs and skims his fingertips down my arms.
“Eventually.”
About the Author
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list. Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists.
She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.
