Cheeky King has the right amount of intrigue, action, passion, feelings, second chances, truths and love to make it perfect. The storyline carries on being unique. The pace is really fast and wonderfully smooth. Such a tough combination!
After discovering the true identity of Len, Sebastian was not only hurt but mad at his father. Returning to home to be the king will just add more to his plate. She lied but he did that too. He also omitted his true identity. They lied to each other but the difference was that Penny did it because of the king’s request. She protected Sebastian because it was her job. Falling in love with him wasn't planned by her. The attraction was all-consuming.
This book is all about truths, forgiveness, redemption and sexy times. It is a spectacular journey where Penny and Sebastian will find the truth and will discover that they can't be apart. After all they must be together but being hurt clouded Sebastian. He is not only grieving his father's death but also trying to figure out what he should do. He wanted to be free to do what he wants but he must fulfil his duty with his people.
Penny definitely has become my favourite book heroine. She is fierce. She doesn't suffer the damsel in distress syndrome. She is all the opposite. She can be sexy as hell and a fighter like an amazone.
Love can survive anything but lies. However this book shows me different. There are some sorts of lies that can be forgiven. I enjoy the way Penny and Sebastian run hot and cold. The odds were against them because all the lies and the omitted truth.
Cheeky King was everything and more I was expecting for the conclusion of Sebastian and Penny's story! This book has suspense, betrayal and many secrets. The best combination of hot and cold, hate and love and HEA guaranteed!
I had an amazing time reading this book. I couldn't put it down until I devoured the last page. I need more of this fantastic romance story about a cocky royal and a strong commoner. I pray to heaven that Lucas get his own book. He deserves it. I guess his story will blow my mind.
I really recommend this book for those readers who have a thing for royal romance. Passion is poured from this book in high amounts. Start the series right now! Let these royals ruin you!
